NES behavior consultation services provide behavior plans custom-made for each individual. These plans are created to help individuals replace their target behaviors with socially acceptable behaviors that make it easier for them to succeed at home and in the community. NES provides BC services to individuals whose behavior problems interfere with their learning or social relationships. NES also provides behavior consultation to families and/or staff who support the individual. Behavior consultation services are based upon positive behavior supports and applied behavior analysis.
How it works:
- NES assesses target behaviors and develops a Behavior Support Plan (BSP).
- Staff and caregivers are trained to implement the BSP.
- Managers and administration monitor the implementation of the BSP.
The BSP is evaluated monthly and reassessed periodically to make sure it fits the individual’s needs. NES employs a team of behaviorists that are board certified through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) or are pursuing licensure as Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA). Our behaviorists are extremely experienced in their field and meet together regularly to peer review their behavior plans in order to create the most effective plans possible.
