David’s Job

NES SUCCESS STORY:
David’s smile lights up when he talks about his new job. He recently started working at Little Caesars and he loves providing great customer service to those around him. On a daily basis, David’s job duties include: doing the dishes, making Pizza sauce, filling crazy bread containers and preparing chicken wing orders. David has received multiple praises from his co-workers on his job performance and positive energy. David is excited to go to work and loves being a part of the community. Sam’s Job

NES SUCCESS STORY:
Sam has been working at Smiths for over 18 years now! A vital part of Sam’s job is interacting with guests and providing assistance to them while they are shopping. Sam is also in charge of bagging groceries, sweeping the produce area and front entryway, assisting guests out to their car with their groceries and returning the carts from the parking lot. Not only does Sam enjoy his job, but he also enjoys all of the friends that he has made working at Smiths. Making and keeping friends is very important to Sam and he is grateful for all them. His co-workers and supervisor are also grateful to have him there. His supervisor reported, “Sam is a key, valued contributor and is fully capable and successful in his role. Becky’s Job

NES SUCCESS STORY: Becky has been working for Lehi City at a local Recreation Center for five years now. Some of her job duties include cleaning the machines in the cardio room, the weight room equipment and machines, and the cycle room. She is also in charge of washing and folding laundry, cleaning the lockers in the women’s dressing room and washing the hand railings. She has an excellent work ethic, always striving to do her best and with a smile. She enjoys greeting the guests and is often complimented on the cleanliness of the facility. Becky loves working in the community and is so excited to go to work everyday. We are so proud of all that Becky has accomplished and can’t wait to see her grow. Aaron’s Job

NES SUCCESS STORY:
Aaron has been working at Sportsman Wearhouse for a little over nine months now. His daily duties vary but usually consist of sorting new supplies, dusting all of the shelves, placing the merchandise on the shelves and matching them with their coding numbers. Aaron enjoys greeting the customers and seeing his co-workers every day. His favorite part about work is the feeling of responsibility that he has and getting to see all of the cool hunting gear. Mitchell’s Job

NES SUCCESS STORY:
Mitchell has been working at Wendy’s for over 10 years now. He has had many job duties while working there but his current responsibilities are washing the tables, sweeping, stocking supplies, keeping the bathrooms clean, filling the ice and taking out the garbage. In the past two years, Mitchell has been trained and mastered the duties of frying nuggets and fries and recently moved to grill meats. He loves his job and with the help of his managers and job coaches, he has been able to grow as an employee and person. His manager, Maria, said, “I love having Mitchell here, he is reliable and helps me lift heavy things.” Mitchell is a hard worker, courteous, and takes pride in having a job at Wendy’s. Jimmy’s Job

NES SUCCESS STORY:
Jimmy has been working at the movie theater for almost two years now. His main job duties include cleaning the booster chairs, dusting the candy shelves and assisting in cleaning the individual theaters after the movies. Jimmy thrives being in an environment with others who share his love of movies. He enjoys the perks of being able to see the free movies and the theater is walking distance from his home making it easy and convenient. All of his co-workers said that they enjoy talking with him and he does a fantastic job at keeping the theater clean. Way to go, Jimmy! We are so proud of you. Alyssa has been working at Potbelly Sandwich Shop for a little over a year now. Her current job duties include working the register, restocking the silverware and condiments and cleaning the dining room and front entry. Alyssa takes pride in making sure that the restaurant is looking in incredible shape. She loves getting to interact with the customers and enjoys helping them with the menu. Snow Canyon National Park

Our St. George location took a day trip to visit Snow Canyon National Park. The park features a canyon carved from the red and white sandstone in the Red Mountains. This beautiful place had so much to offer. The group got to go on a fun hike around the park and even enjoyed a picnic table in the shade. It was certainly hot but the light breeze helped with the heat. Overall, everyone had a fun day!
